PillarFour Capital Partners (“PillarFour”), an energy-focused private investment fund, is pleased to announce an investment in Alexander Tubular LP (“Alexander” or the “Company”).
Alexander is based in Edmonton, Alberta and will develop and manufacture High-Density Polyethylene Pipe (“HDPE”) for the growing North American market. HDPE pipe is a product that is applicable in numerous industries and offers a more cost effective, sustainable, and durable solution compared to PVC, steel and concrete pipe. In addition to meeting the growing demand for HDPE pipe in the current market, Alexander plans on expanding its addressable market by offering larger diameter pipe sizes.
Partnering on the investment is a pipe distribution company that PillarFour has a long-standing relationship with as well as the Alexander Business Centre LP, a limited partnership that acts on behalf of the Alexander First Nation to develop investment opportunities for this First Nation group that is based in the Heartland region of Alberta.
